Please log in to the journal’s website at https://www.pred.com.cn, click on “Author Center” in the left-hand column to submit your manuscript. Please fill in the submission information as required by the system and upload all attachments. After successful submission, authors can check the review progress and results online.

Online Submission and Manuscript Tracking Instructions for Petroleum Reservoir Evaluation and Development

Please carefully read the “Instructions for Contributors” before using the Author Submission System to upload your electronic manuscript. It is recommended to use the IE browser.

1. Visit https://www.pred.com.cn and click on “Author Center” on the homepage.

2. Enter your username and password, then click “Login.” If this is your first time using the system, please click “Register,” fill in your personal information (as completely as possible), and then click “Confirm.”

3. After logging in, click “New Submission.”

4. Complete your personal information. Fields marked with “*” are required. Then click “Next Step.”

5. Read “Submission Instructions” and “Copyright Transfer Agreement” in order, then click “Agree and Proceed to the Next Step” respectively.

6. Manuscript Upload: When submitting, you must upload the original manuscript and a Copyright Transfer Agreement signed by all authors. Other materials such as Confidentiality Agreement, Funding Certificate, and Vector Figures should be supplemented before the manuscript is accepted. After checking that the manuscript structure meets the journal’s requirements, click “Continue Submission.”

(1) On the Manuscript Details page, complete the author information, then click “Agree and Proceed to the Next Step.”

(2) Fill in the submission information, select the column and research direction, etc.

If you wish to recommend reviewers, click the “Add Recommended Reviewer” button and provide the detailed information of 1–2 suitable reviewers. If there are reviewers you wish to exclude, click the “Add Excluded Reviewer” button and enter their information. The Editorial Office reserves the right to select appropriate reviewers according to actual circumstances. Authors’ suggestions will be taken into consideration.

(3) Click “Submit.” The manuscript has been successfully submitted!
