    • Coal accumulation control on gas and coalbed methane exploration potential in southern Ordos Basin: A case study of Carboniferous Taiyuan Formation in Xunyi exploration area

    • In the Xunyi exploration area in the southern Ordos Basin, by analyzing the coal seam environment and sedimentary facies of the Taiyuan Formation, the characteristics of coal accumulation and the controlling factors of coalbed methane enrichment were clarified, and favorable zones for deep coalbed methane exploration were identified, demonstrating good exploration prospects.
