hydrocarbon generation and reservoir conditions are comprehensively discussed. Results show that the high evolutionary level of the kerogen controls the formation gas content. The adsorbed gas which depends on the Nanometer pores and micro-fractures

is the main component of shale gas in the normal formation pressure.
